This presentation looks beneath the pyramids to the rock from which they were built. The limestone of the Giza Plateau contains abundant marine fossils—nummulites, shells, and other sea life—visible in the bedrock and even within the blocks of the Great Pyramid itself.

By examining these fossils and the sedimentary features of the plateau, Nate traces how the stone formed under widespread marine conditions before being quarried by the ancient Egyptians. Drawing from firsthand field observations and research from multiple visits to Egypt, this visual presentation demonstrates how the geology of Giza points to the pyramids being constructed in a post-Flood world.

Nate’s perspective at Giza also draws on his background in biblical archaeology and experience leading Egypt Christian Tours in Egypt, allowing the geology of the plateau to be considered alongside its archaeological and historical setting.
