A backpacking adventure with Canyon Ministries is far more than a “walk through the park.” While the scenery is awe-inspiring, it’s the biblical insights that make our adventures truly life-changing. Throughout each trip, we dive deeply into discussions about the area’s unique features, connecting them to the events of Creation and the Flood as described in Genesis.

We explore different models explaining geological formations, assess the evidence right before us, and draw conclusions about which model best aligns with what we see. As we recognize how God’s hand has shaped these incredible landscapes, we gain a deeper understanding of His character and His boundless love.
