About the Conference
The Creation Research Society Conference will take place July 24–26, 2025, at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri. This annual event provides a valuable forum for members of the Creation Research Society (CRS) to present their latest research. Attendees can expect to hear a range of presentations, from well-developed studies and tested results to newer, tentative ideas and even early speculations. These sessions offer a unique opportunity for researchers to “test drive” their work in front of a like-minded audience. Because of this experimental format, no proceedings or recordings are made of the concurrent sessions.
The conference is intended primarily as a scientific gathering, with presentations that are theological or scientific in nature—many of which may be somewhat technical. While not all attendees will grasp every detail, most leave with new insights, fresh ideas, and a greater appreciation for the ongoing work within the creation science community.
This year, Canyon Ministries will be represented at the conference, with Executive Director Nate Loper presenting a session on the Kachina Bridge “dinosaur” petroglyph—offering a closer look at what this ancient carving actually appears to depict, based on both field observations and comparative archaeological analysis.
Concurrent session presentations are selected from a pool of submitted abstracts, chosen for their originality, novelty, and relevance to the creation community. These abstracts are not peer-reviewed and receive limited editing, fostering a space for the free exchange of ideas—even those still in development. While some presentations may prove more tenable than others, this openness aligns with the conference’s purpose of encouraging collaboration and exploration.
The conference also features the annual Henry Morris Memorial Lecture (HMML), which is free and open to the public. This lecture honors the legacy of Henry Morris and is presented each year by a creationist who worked closely with him. Past speakers have included noted creation researchers such as John Whitmore, Duane Gish, Don DeYoung, Steve Austin, and Russell Humphreys.

Workshops
Several pre-conference workshops will be offered on Thursday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. These sessions are designed as collaborative discussion groups for those already familiar with the respective topics. They are not lectures or seminars but rather opportunities for participants to share insights and help further develop aspects of the creation model. Workshop participation is included with paid conference registration.
Send-off Picnic
To close out the conference, a casual picnic will be held on Saturday, July 26. This event is free to all registered attendees and offers a relaxed environment for final conversations and farewells.
