Description
Experience the Grand Canyon’s South and North Rims in a tactile, beautifully detailed form with this 3D model, designed and produced right here in the Canyon Ministries lab. Each piece takes around 4 hours to be printed in-house and finished by hand, capturing the canyon’s dramatic contours. We print these models using PLA, a non-toxic, renewable biopolymer made from resources like corn starch and sugar cane. It’s safe, durable, and ideal for rendering the canyon’s elevations with clarity and precision.
Every model uses the same “desert sand” color palette, but color variations occur due to the layer-by-layer printing process. The exact colors in your model will be unique, though always within the palette shown in our images. For an elevated display option, you can upgrade to your model being within a decorative rustic shadow box. Each shadow box includes both jute twine and a gold picture hanger on the back, giving you two simple and attractive ways to mount or display your piece.
This model highlights the defining features of both rims—the sweeping overlooks, the dramatic elevation changes, and the vast terrain that frames the canyon’s story. It’s a meaningful keepsake or a great gift for anyone who wants to hold a small reminder of God’s handiwork in their hands.
