Nate Loper
Nate is the Executive Director of Canyon Ministries, bringing over 1,000 days of experience exploring and teaching in Grand Canyon National Park. He has also led tours and research studies in national parks and natural history museums throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and in Egypt. Over the past 20 years, he has traveled extensively, sharing his knowledge and passion in churches, schools, and Christian universities nationwide.
As a seasoned speaker, Nate has presented at conferences, camps, and conventions on topics related to creation science and biblical archaeology. Prior to his role at Canyon Ministries, he spent 12 years as a pastor and also taught biblical apologetics, archaeology, astronomy, and geology in Christian schools.
Growing up in the American Southwest, Nate has a deep appreciation for the region’s stunning landscapes, unique geology, and rich cultural history.

Bill Barrick
For over 50 years, Bill has dedicated his life to teaching in churches, Christian schools, camps, Bible colleges, and seminaries across the United States and around the world. His speaking engagements have spanned Bible conferences, creation society meetings, and church seminars, where he has shared his expertise and passion for biblical truth.
Bill’s ministry has included roles as a professor of Old Testament and Hebrew, a missionary Bible translator and church planter in Bangladesh, and the chairman of the board for Canyon Ministries. He has also led trips to Israel and Jordan and participated in archaeological excavations in the region.
He has co-led around 30 rafting trips through the Grand Canyon, combining adventure with in-depth biblical teaching. An accomplished author, Bill has published numerous articles and essays on the events in Genesis and presented scholarly papers as a member of several academic societies.

Luke Wayne
Luke Wayne is a Christian apologist and research professional, along with being a guide with Canyon Ministries. Before joining the team, he served as a writer and speaker for the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry (CARM) where he has written hundreds of articles on a variety of topics. He has a heart for reaching the lost, having spent a decade as a missionary pastor in Utah.
Luke travels nationwide, speaking at churches and campus ministries to defend the reliability of the Bible and the core doctrines of the Christian faith while addressing objections from non-Christian worldviews. He holds both an MA in Theological Studies and an MDiv from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Known for his unique ability to draw meaningful biblical truths from everyday experiences, Luke communicates both profound and practical insights with clarity and relevance.
