Spanning the same 277 miles as our 7-day trips, this adventure allows for a more leisurely pace, giving you time to explore hidden side canyons, embark on extended hikes, and marvel at additional geological wonders. As the first trip of the season, the cooler spring temperatures make it possible to venture further and experience even more of the canyon’s breathtaking beauty.
Dr. John Whitmore, a Professor of Geology at Cedarville University and a geologist working with Answers in Genesis, brings decades of expertise to the journey. With extensive research on the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon, and the Coconino Sandstone, Dr. Whitmore is one of the world’s foremost experts in his field. His work, featured in the documentary Is Genesis History?: Mountains After the Flood, provides profound insights into the canyon’s sedimentary rock layers and their testimony to the Flood described in Genesis.
Joining him is Bryce Brothers, a seasoned Canyon Ministries guide with a gift for blending science, Scripture, and practical truth. With years of experience leading rim tours and backpacking trips, Bryce is passionate about creating life-changing experiences for every guest.
