During the day, Bryce will guide you through the canyon’s layers of rock, explaining the story of Earth’s past through the lens of Flood geology—highlighting how the biblical record of Genesis makes sense of what we see around us. Then, as the sun sets and the canyon sky comes alive, Dr. Danny Faulkner will turn your eyes heavenward. Through engaging teaching and hands-on telescope viewing, you’ll explore the majesty of God’s creation above—from planets and nebulae to the sweeping arcs of the Milky Way—all from one of the darkest, clearest skies in North America.
Dr. Danny Faulkner brings an impressive academic background to the trip, with an MS in physics from Clemson University and both an MA and PhD in astronomy from Indiana University.
