2022 River Trips Coming Soon!

2022 Grand Canyon River Trips Header

As we ramp things up here at Canyon Ministries in preparation for our busy spring and summer season for rim tours, walking tours, and hiking tours at the Grand Canyon, we also have river trips on our minds!  Not only are we excited for this season’s trips, but we will soon be publishing our 2022 river trip schedule here in a couple of weeks.

We know many of you are waiting with anticipation for that.  Because we experience exciting rapids, stellar night skies, and incredible hikes to see Native American archaeology or splash in pristine waterfalls, our trips typically fill up over a year in advance.  With limited river trips available by the National Park Service for companies to run in the Grand Canyon, we wish we could add more trips and accommodate EVERYONE who wants to go down the river with us, but that’s simply not able to happen every year.

But don’t worry!  Even if you’re not able to experience a Grand Canyon river trip with us this season or next, we want you to know about other GRAND adventures you can have.  This year we have a number of multi-day backpacking trip adventures already on the calendar, with more to be added for the fall season.  These trips explore various locations within the Grand Canyon, and even spectacular slot canyons and arches in places in Utah.  Make sure to visit our backpacking page for upcoming dates and information on these adventures.

We know this past year has been very difficult for travel and family vacations.  We want you to know we are still able to run most tour operations here at the Grand Canyon and hope you’ll consider a creation experience at the canyon this spring or summer.
