Generational Impact
As with many great moments in life, this one began as a dream. It was the desire of one man to take his family on a river trip through the Grand Canyon for the purpose of investigating God’s creation and the powerful voice it contributes for the truth of God’s character and His word. Years went by and family got busy. The duties of life scattered the family abroad and health issues were becoming more limiting. The dream appeared to be almost unattainable. But God remembered this man and his dream and on June 1st, 3 generations of the Calvin and Joan Millerborg family launched the fulfillment of that dream.
It was my privilege (along with the rest of the fellow river runners) to witness their time together and the honor that was bestowed upon Calvin and Joan. Day after day, they met the challenges of the Grand Canyon together with song, laughter, and good old fashion fun! Each day cast them into new thrills that they embraced as family with support and love. At sunset of the last night in the canyon, the family celebrated together as 2 of the grandchildren were baptized in the Colorado River. The commitment of one man and woman to impacting the generations behind them will forever be remembered and cherished by all present that beautiful night.
Mingled in the picture above are 12 members of the Millerborg family. I know they would want to see you have the same experience they were able to have. Dreams come true every day in Grand Canyon. Yours is next. Join us on the river or at the south rim for an opportunity to love God’s word more deeply.
PRAISEALLUJIAH!
