Grand Canyon Sunset
Watching the sun set at the Grand Canyon is beyond anything I am capable of presenting with words. For those brief moments at the end of each day, God shines a spotlight on His mercy and grace. The colors and layers of the canyon walls shout praise to their maker. I took this photo in early September while standing just outside of the Bright Angel Lodge. As the daylight hours came to a rest, I considered the words of David in Psalm 19; “In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.”
The Grand Canyon is not a testimony to time, but rather a testimony to the Timeless One!
