SHARE IT in Sedona

We love seeing the various ways God works.  A few days ago, I received an encouraging “SHARE IT” message from a couple of young ladies.  After being on the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour with me one day, they did a jeep tour with a different company the next day in Sedona.  While driving around Sedona, exploring the red rocks and learning about the history of the area, the guide then started to share a little about the geology.  After pointing out marine and sea life fossils in the rocks, he then pointed out some of the rock layers and noted they are some of the same rock layers seen at the Grand Canyon.

Just then he said, “Oh, I’ve heard of that.”  Looking down to see what he was referring to, the ladies noticed he had caught a glimpse of a follow-up card we give guests at the end of our tours.  On one side is information about how to stay connected to us after a tour, the other side features reminders about what we share from a biblical and geological perspective.  Having done the tour with us the day before, she had our card sticking halfway out of her purse.  At that point the card became a conversation starter.  These two young ladies were able to share much of what they learned on our tour the day before, and how geology really does help confirm the events of the Bible.

What a fantastic and simple way to share your faith!  In the message I received from them they said, “We want to encourage you by saying what you are doing is making a difference, and I pray you will reach many countries and nations.”  We are truly blessed to hear testimonies and feedback from encounters like this. God is always doing something new and exciting around here.  What really makes us especially excited is when He does that through EACH of you as you take the message of the canyon and SHARE IT!

Yes, A friend of mine suggested i find out what dates your group has tours this summer. My two grandsons will be with me and i am considering trip to the Grand Canyon selfishly because I’ve never seen it and thought it would be a fun vacation for the grandsons too. I have a few health issues so not sure how much walking is involved but would like to find out what your program offers and the price. Thanks so much, Mary Blair
